This past Friday evening, Nov. 6, Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri was launched with a Mass, dinner, and program in Holy Trinity Church in Springfield. It was a celebration of completion as well as a new beginning. The diocese has been planning to launch Catholic Charities for years and this planning was finalized by the work of an interim board of directors, made up of talented people across the diocese.
